Job Description

  • The Company Our client is a Global privately owned MNC who is rapidly growing their corporate advisory and risk solutions business that works with many of New Zealand's leading organisations across a broad range of industries. The Role You'll work directly alongside the Leader who is down to earth, engaging willing to mentor and invest in the successful applicants career development. You will be gaining exposure to boardrooms, executive teams and external advisors while developing deep expertise in a niche area few professionals ever have access to. Initially, you'll work alongside a team responsible for managing a portfolio of captive entities, developing a strong technical foundation and understanding of the sector. As your experience grows, your role will evolve into a highly client-facing advisory position involving: Working with CEOs, CFOs and boards of major corporate clients

  • Travelling throughout New Zealand and, over time, to the Pacific Islands
  • This is not a sales role. The work is highly consultative, relationship-driven and focused on helping organisations understand and implement sophisticated risk solutions. Your Profile We're less concerned about industry background and more interested in finding someone with the capability and appetite to grow. To be successful, you'll bring: An Accounting or related degree
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in business
  • High attention to detail

  • Professional presence and credibility
  • A collaborative and down-to-earth approach
  • Pride in delivering quality work
  • We'd particularly love to hear from people who have demonstrated career progression, stability in their employment history and a desire to build long-term expertise rather than simply move from role to role. Benefits This is a unique opportunity like no other. You'll spend time learning the technical aspects of the business, but the longer-term vision is to develop someone who can build trusted relationships with CEOs, CFOs, directors, lawyers and bankers and become a genuine advisor to clients.
