THE GIG:


Our client has a simple mission: to create beautiful outdoor spaces in kiwi homes. They supply and install trusted, award-winning, quality in-ground fibreglass swimming pool shells with a strong focus on quality and innovation. They handle everything in-house — from excavation and earthworks to installation, council consents, and landscaping.


We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to join the team with a strong focus on building consents, Council compliance and project documentation. You'll take ownership of managing the project from consent application through to completion of the project, and genuinely enjoy seeing a project through from start to finish.


You will have the ability to organise and manage project timelines, materials and logistics between teams, contractors and site schedules while identifying any issues early to keep projects on track. You'll prepare and submit Council documentation, building consent applications and respond to RFIs, and coordinate Council inspections, compliance requirements and site visits. Excellent communication is paramount to keep clients, contractors and the team informed.


This is a Monday - Friday, full time permanent role based in Rangiora.


YOU'LL BE:


RB Recruitment is looking for someone with a solid background in construction project management , with a people and solutions first approach.


  • Highly organised, practical and confident dealing with people
  • Enjoy keeping multiple moving parts under control
  • You'll have proven project management or construction experience
  • Experience working with Councils, building consents or compliance would be advantageous
  • Experience with site planning software, Microsoft Office, Xero or similar systems would be ideal
  • Current NZ driver's licence required
