Remarkable People is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil infrastructure client for a Road Maintenance Operator / Class 2 Driver to join a dedicated maintenance team in Hamilton to start ASAP.


If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work, take pride in delivering quality results, and want to be part of a team that helps keep New Zealand's roads safe, this could be the opportunity for you.


What we're looking for


  • Full Class 2 driver's licence (required).
  • Available to start ASAP.
  • Open to working day and night shifts + on-call and occasional weekends.
  • Experience in civil construction, road maintenance, infrastructure, or general maintenance.
  • Confidence using hand tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment.
  • Good general strength and fitness to complete the daily physical maintenance work.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Clean criminal record and drug test.
