Job Description

OneStaff Rotorua is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Operator Maintainer to join their operations team in Rotorua. This hands-on role involves the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, networks, and land treatment systems.


What you'll be doing:

  • Operating and maintaining treatment plants and associated assets
  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
  • Responding to alarms and participating in an on-call roster
  • Monitoring equipment performance and completing maintenance records
  • Working safely and contributing to a strong Health & Safety culture


What we're looking for:

  • Practical maintenance or operational experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused attitude
  • Full New Zealand Driver's Licence
  • Experience in the water or related industry is advantageous
