PACKING & PICKING | SOUTH HORNBY


Looking for a role where you can get stuck in, keep busy and be part of a great team? We’re currently looking for reliable Pick & Pack team members to join a well-established food production business in South Hornby. With a range of well-known brands and plenty happening behind the scenes, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a company that offers ongoing opportunities for the right people.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


You’ll be part of the team getting customer orders ready to go, picking and packing items such as meat, fresh produce and recipe ingredients.

The role is fast-paced and hands-on, with an automated Pick to Light system helping you get orders picked accurately and efficiently. You’ll be working in a temperature-controlled environment of around 1–5°C, so being comfortable working in a cooler environment is important.


WHEN YOU’LL BE WORKING


  • Shifts are dependent on production, with current hours including: Thursday: 12.00pm – 9.00pm
  • Friday: 10.00am – 6.00pm/8.00pm


There may be opportunities for additional hours depending on production requirements.

  • You don’t need years of experience, but you do need to be someone who: Is available to work through the Christmas and New Year period
  • Turns up, gets stuck in and can be relied on
  • Has a great attitude and works well as part of a team
  • Can work quickly while still paying attention to detail
  • Is comfortable following processes and Health & Safety procedures
  • Learns new systems quickly
  • Is happy working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
