Tradestaff is looking for experienced Electricians currently in New Zealand for long-term residential and commercial opportunities across Wellington and the wider region

$30-$40 depending on experience

From wiring new builds to tracking down tricky faults, we’re after sparkies who know their stuff, work safely and take pride in a job done properly.

  • You’ll bring hands-on experience across:Residential and commercial wiring, switchboards, lighting and power distribution.
  • Fault-finding, repairs, maintenance and servicing.
  • Reading electrical plans, drawings and specifications.
  • Testing, verification and completing Certificates of Compliance where authorised.

What you’ll need

EWRB registration and a current practising licence, or be progressing through the New Zealand registration process. Tell us where you’re at so we can consider suitable opportunities.

You’ll also need your own hand tools, reliable transport when starting work, at least two recent work references, a strong approach to Health & Safety and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Most importantly? Be reliable, hands-on and ready to get stuck in.

Tradestaff is an accredited employer and can consider sponsorship opportunities for suitable electricians already in New Zealand, subject to visa and role requirements.
