High End Finishing Carpenter


We’re looking for experienced High End Finishing Carpenters to join quality projects across Tauranga. If you’re a qualified carpenter with an eye for detail, precision workmanship and experience delivering premium finishes, we want to hear from you.


Location: Tauranga, Tauranga

Start date: Now and in the future

Pay rate: $35–$42 per hour, depending on experience


What you’ll be doing

  • Complete high-end finishing carpentry, including detailed trims, mouldings and custom woodwork.
  • Fit and hang doors, windows and architectural hardware with precision.
  • Install custom cabinetry, shelving and built-in furniture.
  • Carry out quality cladding installation and finishing.
  • Scribe and fit timber accurately to walls, floors and other surfaces.
  • Read and work from architectural plans, elevations and detailed drawings.
  • Prepare and finish timber surfaces to a premium standard.

What we’re looking for

  • A relevant NZ carpentry qualification.
  • Proven experience in high-end finishing carpentry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings.
  • EWP, Working at Heights (WAH) and Site Safe are advantageous.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • No criminal convictions.
