Job Description

This role would suit someone who is confident on the tools but also comfortable taking the lead on site, helping coordinate day-to-day work and keeping jobs moving safely and efficiently.


You’ll be working alongside tradespeople and labourers, assisting with a variety of construction maintenance work while providing practical direction and support to the team when required.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous construction and maintenance experience
  • Previous Leading Hand, senior trades assistant or similar experience preferred
  • Strong practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools
  • Ability to provide direction and support to other workers on site
  • Ability to work independently and keep work progressing
  • Reliable, hardworking attitude with good communication skills
  • Strong focus on health and safety
  • Reliable transport and ability to travel to different Auckland sites
  • A current driver’s licence is preferred
