Oceans Floral is an established market leader in New Zealand's floral and gift presentation industry, supplying an extensive range of floral supplies, gift presentation products and packaging.


We're looking for a creative and proactive Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at our new premises in Penrose.


This is a varied, hands-on role combining graphic design, marketing, social media, photography and content creation. You'll have plenty of opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the table, take ownership of projects and help grow the Oceans Floral brand across both digital and traditional channels.

Your role will include:


  • Creating engaging graphic design and marketing collateral across digital and print
  • Planning and producing content for social media and other marketing channels
  • Managing regular social media activity and helping grow our online presence
  • Photography and videography of our products and ranges
  • Creating and maintaining marketing material in line with our brand guidelines
  • Assisting with email marketing through Mailchimp
  • Supporting website content and other digital marketing requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our marketing systems, processes and collateral


We're looking for someone with:


  • Ideally 1-2+ years' experience in graphic design, marketing or a similar creative role
  • Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience with photography and videography, including product photography
  • A good understanding of branding, design principles and brand guidelines
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and current content trends
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Experience with Mailchimp
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • An understanding of website processes and digital content
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and willingness to be part of a close-knit team
