Are you a Qualified Solar Electrician looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a motivated and experienced electrician to join a growing team delivering high-quality solar installations across Central Tauranga. If you enjoy working across a variety of commercial and residential projects and want to be part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.


Location: Central Tauranga, Tauranga

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $40–$45 per hour (PAYE) – weekly pay


About the Role

As a Qualified Solar Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing commercial and residential solar systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role involves travelling between sites and working as part of a professional installation team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install commercial and residential solar panel systems
  • Read and interpret electrical and installation plans
  • Complete high-quality solar installations to industry standards
  • Travel between commercial and residential project sites
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety while delivering quality workmanship

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Current NZ Electrical Registration and practising licence
  • Proven experience installing commercial and residential solar systems
  • Full Class 1 driver's licence
  • Working at Heights certification
  • EWP/MEWP licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
