  • Permanent, Part-time role – Friday and Saturday.
  • Night shift position - sole charge

About the role

We're looking for a Night Porter to work at our lovely Highlands Village in Highland Park. You will ensure a safe and secure environment in the village for our residents and respond to any emergencies that arise during your watch. You will also be responsible for general cleaning, security and completing related administration duties. This is a rewarding role where you make a difference to the lives of those who call Metlifecare home.

This is a part-time role working 2 nights a week as follows:

Friday and Saturday – 9.30pm to 6.30am = 17 hours week (plus a paid 30-minute break each night)

Some of the great things you will be doing include:

  • First Responder to emergency call bells
  • Cleaning of common areas and the amenities area
  • Ensure the village site is a safe environment for our residents

About you?

To be successful in this role you'll enjoy fostering and maintaining relationships with our residents, be able to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Physically able to support our Residents in any emergency
  • Have good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Have impeccable personal presentation
  • Current First Aid certificate or prepared to get one asap
