About the Role

Stellar Recruitment is seeking motivated Electrical Trade Assistants for a variety of projects across Auckland. Working alongside experienced electrical teams, you'll be exposed to a broad range of environments, from commercial developments and infrastructure upgrades through to manufacturing facilities and data centre projects.


This role is ideal for candidates looking to strengthen their industry experience, gain exposure to larger-scale projects, and take the next step toward a long-term electrical career.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an electrical, construction, or trade environment
  • A New Zealand Limited Electrical Licence (highly regarded)
  • Confidence using hand and power tools
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
  • Current Site Safe passport or willingness to obtain one
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic


Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting electricians with daily site activities
  • Running and securing electrical cabling
  • Installing cable tray and containment systems
  • Supporting fit-off and installation works
  • Assisting with testing and commissioning activities
  • Reading basic plans and site instructions
  • Maintaining clean and organised work areas
  • Following site safety procedures and project requirements
  • Handling materials, tools, and equipment safely
