Red Badge Group is looking for a reliable and proactive Mobile Patrol Officer to join our West/Northwest Auckland Patrols team, based out of Henderson. If you enjoy variety in your work, thrive working independently, and take pride in keeping people and property safe, this could be the role for you.


Permanent full-time night shifts across West and Northwest Auckland, including weekends, with start and finish times varying between 8:30pm and 5:30am.


What You'll Do


As a Mobile Patrol Officer, no two shifts are the same. You'll be responsible for:


  • Conducting mobile patrols across commercial, retail, industrial, and public sites
  • Responding to alarms, incidents, and customer callouts
  • Completing lock-up and unlock procedures
  • Performing site inspections and perimeter checks
  • Reporting incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues accurately
  • Acting as a visible security presence and deterrent
  • Providing professional customer service to clients and members of the public
  • Maintaining patrol vehicles, equipment, and documentation to a high standard


What We're Looking For


  • Current Full New Zealand Driver Licence (essential)
  • Current COA Security Licence, or the ability to obtain one
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Good attention to detail and report-writing skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
  • Physically fit and comfortable carrying out site inspections throughout your shift
  • Previous mobile patrol or security experience is preferred, but not essential. We can provide training for the right person with the right attitude.
