Marine Services Wanganui is a locally focused business providing marine, ATV, SSV, parts, accessories, servicing and retail solutions to customers throughout the region.


We're currently looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused ATV Sales & Delivery Representative to join our team.


This is a varied, hands-on role combining sales, customer service, product promotion, stock management and customer deliveries. You'll work across our retail store, workshop, customer sites and throughout the wider region.


You'll be a key point of contact for our customers - helping them choose the right ATV, SSV, marine product, accessory or service, while building relationships that keep them coming back.


About the role


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys getting out from behind a desk. You'll be meeting customers, visiting sites, delivering equipment, working alongside the workshop team, promoting products online and helping customers throughout the ownership journey.


Your days will be varied and will include:


  • Selling ATVs, SSVs, marine products, accessories, parts and servicing
  • Helping customers in-store, online and over the phone
  • Following up enquiries and developing sales opportunities
  • Preparing quotes, invoices, finance applications and sales documentation
  • Building strong customer relationships and identifying future sales opportunities
  • Keeping up-to-date product knowledge across our ATV, SSV, marine and retail ranges
  • Collecting and delivering ATVs, SSVs, marine products, parts and accessories
  • Ensuring loads are safely secured and transported
  • Liaising between customers, sales and workshop teams
  • Assisting with stock control, stocktakes, ordering and inventory management
  • Photographing, pricing and listing new, used and trade-in stock
  • Creating engaging social media posts and online advertisements
  • Supporting in-store displays, merchandising and promotional activities
  • Maintaining a clean, professional showroom, vehicles, trailers and equipment
  • Assisting the wider team with day-to-day operations


Due to the nature of the role, hours of work may vary from week to week, including travel, after-hours customer contact, and seasonal fluctuations in workload. A flexible approach to work hours will be required.


About you

  • A full NZ driver's licence


Experience in automotive, ATV, motorcycle, marine, machinery, retail or sales would be an advantage, but we're ultimately looking for the right person and attitude.
