Job Description

Tradestaff Cambridge is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join a great team in Cambridge! If you've got solid auto electrical experience, enjoy hands-on work, and are confident working on trailers and electrical systems, we want to hear from you!

Location: Cambridge, Waikato

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour, with weekly pay

  • What You'll Be DoingRunning rubber hoses and installing piping on trailers
  • Wiring up trailer lights and installing electrical systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
  • Installing, servicing and replacing electrical wiring and components
  • Installing and upgrading electrical accessories
  • Testing and calibrating electrical components, including headlight alignment
  • Safely operating hand tools and electrical equipment
  • What We're Looking ForPrevious experience working as an Auto Electrician
  • Strong fault-finding and electrical repair skills
  • Experience with trailer wiring and electrical installations would be an advantage
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A good attitude and commitment to safe working practices
