Skilled Labourer

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Skilled Labourer to work across a variety of construction sites in Christchurch. If you know your way around a building site, can confidently use basic tools and aren't afraid of hard work, we want to hear from you!


Location: Various sites, Christchurch

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $26 per hour + weekly pay


  • What You'll Be DoingAssist builders and tradespeople with daily construction tasks
  • Use basic hand and power tools safely and confidently
  • Move, load and organise building materials
  • Complete site preparation and general labouring duties
  • Assist with demolition and site clearing where required
  • Keep work areas tidy, organised and safe
  • Support construction crews with various tasks as needed
  • What We're Looking ForPrevious experience working on construction sites
  • Confidence using basic hand and power tools
  • Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
  • Good understanding of construction-site health and safety
  • Site Safe is advantageous but not essential
