Job Description

  • The Company My client is a privately-owned FMCG New Zealand success story which operates in the New Zealand and Australian markets. The company's environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with the New Zealand operations being very well-resourced. They offer modern, open-plan office space with parking, and a friendly and supportive team environment. The Role This is a sole-charge Accounts Payable position, reporting directly into the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the full function, and you will be a solution driven finance officer who has a passion for process improvement, this is due to a recently implemented new ERP system. You will be responsible for: Manual and automated invoice processing and coding accurately
  • High volume invoices (1,500+ per monthly)
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and payments
  • Processing of smaller weekly payments, and payments on the 20th of the month and month end
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Foreign currency payments (USD, AUD, GBP, EUR)
  • Supplier queries
  • Ad-hoc administration work
  • Your Profile You will be a confident and experienced Accounts Payable Officer who is happy to work in a sole-charge capacity, processing high volumes of invoices in both a manual and automated environment. You will have/be: Deadline driven with the ability to prioritise and self-motivate
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working on large ERP systems like SAP, Oracle etc
  • Be someone who enjoys looking for ways to streamline ways of processing for efficiency
