Job Description

Tradestaff are looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our team in Wānaka.

The work:

  • Assist with various construction, maintenance, or manufacturing tasks using specialised skills and tools.
  • Perform manual labour tasks including lifting, carrying, digging, and clearing debris.
  • Operate machinery and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Support qualified tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, plumbers, electricians) with complex projects.
  • Work on a range of tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or heavy machinery operation.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency on-site at all times.
  • Follow instructions and assist with any tasks as required by the project or team.


What we're looking for:

  • Relevant experience in construction is a must
  • Access to reliable transportation (having a car is a plus)
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
