Our recently upgraded kitchen features a new oven, cooktop, steriliser, and ample storage and workspace. You'll also have access to our vegetable garden for fresh herbs and produce. The current cook has set the kitchen up for success and will provide a thorough handover to support your transition.


About the Role


We're looking for a passionate Cook to join our team in a permanent role, working 30 hours per week (8:45am - 3:15pm), Monday to Friday .


In this role, you'll prepare nutritious meals and snacks, cater to dietary requirements, maintain high food safety standards, and create positive food experiences for our tamariki every day.


We're Looking For Someone Who Has:


  • A passion for cooking and baking
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
  • An understanding of dietary requirements and allergies
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience with menu planning, ordering, and budgeting
  • A commitment to promoting healthy eating for young children
