Senior Civil Engineer - Civil 3D, Gold Coast, $120,000 - $145,000 + 12% Super


The Company


Our client is a well-established civil engineering consultancy delivering high-quality design solutions across land development, residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.


Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on the Gold Coast.


This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys hands-on design, project ownership, and mentoring junior team members.

The Role


As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to construction documentation.


You will work closely with clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes.

  • Civil engineering design for land development and infrastructure projects
  • Preparation and review of civil models and documentation using Civil 3D
  • Stormwater, earthworks, roads, and services design
  • Liaison with local authorities and external stakeholders
  • Managing project deliverables, timelines, and quality
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers

About You


You are a capable and motivated civil engineer with strong consulting experience and solid technical foundations.

You will bring:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering design
  • Strong proficiency in Civil 3D
  • Experience across land development and civil infrastructure projects
  • Sound understanding of Australian design standards and local authority requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
