The role


We're looking for a hard-working labourer to join our Roofing, Asbestos and Fireplace team. No two days are the same. You could be up on a roof one day and helping clear a demolition site the next.


What you'll be doing:


  • Assisting with roofing, asbestos removal and fireplace work
  • Demolition, digging, levelling ground and clearing materials
  • Putting up and taking down safety fencing
  • Loading and handling gear and materials
  • Keeping sites clean, tidy and safe
  • Filling out basic job records and reports


What we're looking for:


  • Solid labouring experience
  • Working at heights experience is ideal (a Working at Heights certificate is a plus)
  • Asbestos removal experience is a big plus, but if you haven't done it and you're keen to learn, we want to hear from you
  • A safety-first attitude: you plan your work, wear your PPE and speak up when something isn't right
  • Reliable, self-motivated and a good team player
  • Able to deal with clients and tenants in a friendly, professional way
