About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

  • Oversee the effective management of the operation to meet production requirements and performance targets around People, Safety, Service, Value
  • Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve team and DC objectives
  • Lead, motivate and engage team leaders and team members on the AM (3:00 am to 11:30 am) shift
  • Ensure that the team comply with safety  policies, procedures and role responsibilities
  • Use effective communication techniques to encourage open and honest communications and constant information flow
  • Support implementation for continuous improvement of systems and our processes
  • Review operational area performance and implement improvements to align with organisational strategy


About You | Mōu

  • Operational experience, ideally within the warehouse and distribution sector, including systems and inventory experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development through coaching and mentoring
  • Experience working with a unionised workforce and building strong relationships with trade union leaders is highly desirable.
  • Results oriented and organised approach with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines and the ability to motivate others to deliver
  • Proficient in software such as the Microsoft and Google Suites
  • Customer focused, passionate and inclusive mindset
