Scaffolding Services | Dunedin

Are you a commercially minded sales professional who understands the trades and enjoys building long-term client relationships? This is an opportunity to join a well-established scaffolding services business and drive growth across Dunedin and the wider Otago market.


About the role

You will be responsible for growing sales, strengthening existing customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities across commercial, residential, industrial, and civil projects. Working closely with the operations team, you will ensure customers receive responsive advice and practical scaffolding solutions.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Build trusted relationships with builders, contractors, project managers, and trade clients
  • Visit sites, understand customer requirements, and help coordinate fit-for-purpose scaffolding solutions
  • Prepare and follow up proposals, quotes, and tenders
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers and identify opportunities to grow accounts
  • Work closely with operations teams to support accurate planning and excellent service delivery
  • Monitor market activity and represent the business professionally across the region


About you

  • Proven sales, account management, or business development experience
  • Ideally, experience in scaffolding, construction, hire services, civil works, or a related trade environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and a practical understanding of site-based work
  • Confident communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently
  • Confidence using CRM systems and preparing professional proposals
  • A full, clean New Zealand driver licence
