Class 4 Driver

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver to join a busy Tauranga operation. If you’re confident with Hiab work, comfortable around construction sites and take pride in safe, professional driving, we want to hear from you.


Location: Tauranga

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $30–$32 per hour + weekly pay


  • What You’ll Be DoingOperate Class 4 vehicles safely across deliveries and site work
  • Transport construction materials to and from sites
  • Operate a Hiab for loading and unloading materials
  • Position vehicles safely in active construction environments
  • Communicate with dispatch, site supervisors and contractors
  • Complete delivery documentation and logbooks accurately
  • Carry out vehicle checks and keep equipment clean and well maintained
  • What We’re Looking ForFull, current NZ Class 4 Driver Licence
  • Proven Hiab operating experience
  • Good driving record and confident heavy-vehicle skills
  • Previous experience working around construction sites
  • Physically fit and comfortable assisting with manual tasks
  • Strong time management, reliability and safety awareness
  • Reliable transport and ability to meet pre-employment requirements
