As a Banking Consultant in our team, you'll play a key role in creating a seamless and positive experience for our Advisor Home Loan customers. You'll support customers through important onboarding and handover activities, including meeting our AML requirements, accessing digital banking tools, and having meaningful conversations that help them get the most from their banking relationship with us.


  • Deliver friendly, efficient and customer-focused support throughout the handover process.
  • Take the time to understand what's most important to each customer and tailor your approach accordingly.
  • Help customers confidently navigate our digital banking tools and services.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment where learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.

Role Location : Auckland

Role Type : Permanent, Full-time

Role Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)

As a Banking Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Connect with customers virtually and guide them through all required handover actions.
  • Prepare for and lead meaningful conversations to understand customers’ needs and goals.
  • Introduce digital banking tools in a simple, engaging and empowering way.
  • Support customers with opening accounts, updating their details and identifying products and services that may add value to their banking experience.
  • Help keep our customers and bank safe by following risk and compliance obligations.
  • Share successes, learn from challenges and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:


  • Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage
  • Experience in being a user and promoter of technology - working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage
  • Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment, but also independently and remain focused
  • Sound understanding of compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
