Processing Workers – Tuakau/Karaka

$24.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | 6:30am – 3:30pm. There may be the occasional requirement to finish later, depending on production needs.

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Processing Workers to join our client’s busy food production team based in the Tuakau/Karaka area.

This is a hands-on role suited to people who enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in their work and are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.


About the Role

You will be working within a food production environment, helping to process, handle and pack products safely, efficiently and consistently.


Your duties will include:

  • Packing and processing products
  • Accurately counting and checking products
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Working effectively as part of a team
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Following all Health & Safety, and Hygiene procedures


About You

We are looking for people who:

  • Are physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work, manual task and responsibilities
  • Are reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
  • Are comfortable working in a food production environment
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Can work well as part of a team
  • Are committed to Health & Safety
  • Can provide 2 work-related references
  • Can pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing, ACC and criminal background checks
