The Role

We're looking for reliable, safety-focused Traffic Management staff to join our casual workforce. Whether you're an experienced TTM Worker or Traffic Controller, or looking to gain experience in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.


You'll be working on a variety of roading, civil, and infrastructure projects throughout Queenstown and the surrounding areas, helping keep both workers and the public safe.


Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and removing temporary traffic management sites
  • Directing traffic safely using stop/go paddles where required
  • Monitoring traffic flow and ensuring public safety
  • Following approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
  • Working closely with site supervisors and crews
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards


What We're Looking For

  • Previous traffic management experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Current TTM Worker, TMO, STMS, or Traffic Controller qualification preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
  • Able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
  • Full Class 1 driver's licence preferred
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Site Safe is a bonus


Pre-employment Requirements

  • Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing may be required.
  • Ministry of Justice checks may be completed where applicable.
