Surveyor / Senior Surveyor

Byron Bay, Northern Rivers, NSW

$80,000 – $140,000 base + super + vehicle + paid overtime

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join their innovative, dynamic, and growing surveying team based in the Byron Bay, Northern Rivers, NSW. The Role

  • As a Surveyor within the team, you will work across a diverse mix of high-rise and major construction projects, combining hands-on site work with technical, office-based responsibilities.
  • Delivering accurate and timely construction surveys that contribute directly to project success
  • Completing fieldwork, calculations, pre-calculations, sketches, and survey processing
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Liaising with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Utilising advanced surveying equipment and software to improve efficiency and outcomes


About You

  • Proven experience as a Survey Technician or Surveyor, with exposure to construction projects (high-rise experience highly regarded)
  • Proficiency with 12d software and Leica and/or Trimble survey equipment
  • A relevant qualification in Surveying
  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate, Graduate, or above
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
