Job Description

We are looking for a 6-month fixed term, full-time (40 hours per week) Senior Administrator with a customer focus who is results driven and enjoys working in a team environment. The role is focused on working and supporting our team as they work to support rangatahi across the country. This role is based in the Wellington CBD.


Commencement date for this role will be 11 January 2027.


Excellent communication and organisational skills are key to this role. You’ll also need resilience, flexibility and the ability to build strong relationships across the team both onsite and across the wider organisation.


To undertake this role, you will need to be comfortable working with Microsoft Office suite. You will be responsible for the office admin needs of our team. In addition, you will support the management of contractors and support the operational leaders with tasks relating to calendar appointments, data entry and incoming calls.


Skills and experience

You will be a well-organised and efficient Administrator excited about making a difference for rangatahi. To undertake this role, you will have:


  • Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally in the not-for-profit sector)
  • Proven planning and organisation skills
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in the co-ordination and management of contractors
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office products, including Excel
  • Be task driven, prioritising completing specific tasks and achieving immediate goals, often focusing on efficiency, deadlines, and clear execution
