General Labourer


Are you looking for hands-on work and variety in your day-to-day?


We’re on the lookout for physically fit, reliable General Labourers to join our team across a range of sites in the Hastings, Havelock North and Napier areas.

This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience while working alongside skilled tradespeople in busy, fast-paced environments.


Location: Hawkes Bay Region

Start date: Immediate start available

Pay rate: $26–$29 per hour (paid weekly)


  • What You’ll Be DoingAssisting tradespeople and contractors with various tasks on construction sites and in factory environments
  • Carrying out general site clean-up, including debris removal and waste disposal
  • Supporting teams with manual handling and labouring duties
  • Following instructions from supervisors and working collaboratively with the team
  • Maintaining safe work practices and following health and safety procedures
  • What We’re Looking ForKeen to get stuck in and not afraid of hard work
  • Reliable transport and a Restricted licence to get to different sites
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, active work
  • Able to take direction, work hard and back the team around you
  • Enjoy variety — no two days or sites are the same
  • Positive attitude, good banter and a strong work ethic
  • Health and safety conscious while working in busy environments
