Job Description

We're seeking skilled Qualified Electricians to join a large-scale site preparation and infrastructure project!

  • Based in Taupo, Waikato
  • $49.40 per hour + 8% Holiday Pay
  • 12 Month Project with possible extension

About the Role:


Join a major project in Taupō, installing and commissioning electrical infrastructure that will help power New Zealand's renewable future. You'll work alongside project supervisors, other electricians, and construction teams to deliver high-quality electrical installations safely and efficiently.


  • Duties: Install solar PV electrical systems
  • Run and terminate DC and AC cabling
  • Fit cable trays, conduits, and switchgear
  • Test and commission electrical equipment
  • Read and follow electrical drawings
  • Complete work to NZ standards
  • Identify and rectify faults
  • Maintain site safety compliance
  • Skills & Experience: EWRB Full License (Current) required
  • Site Safe required
  • Commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Full Class 1 driver's licence required
