Our Infants is a vibrant, engaging space where tamariki are encouraged to explore, discover, and develop the skills and confidence they need as they prepare for their next step into kura.


About the Role


We're looking for an enthusiastic and caring Caregiver to join our preschool team in a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week.


You'll be part of a supportive and passionate team where your ideas, relationships, and contribution are valued. Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of tamariki every day.


What You'll Be Doing


  • Supporting tamariki to learn, grow, and thrive through meaningful play and engaging experiences.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues.
  • Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to support the learning programme and smooth day-to-day running of the centre.
  • Encouraging tamariki to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.


What We're Looking For


  • Experience working with children under five - a qualification isn't required.
  • A genuine passion for working with tamariki and supporting their development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive, caring attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
  • Someone who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
