About the Role:


We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to join our one-room kindy, working with tamariki aged 2–5 years alongside a supportive team of seven teachers.


You’ll help create engaging, play-based learning experiences, build strong relationships with whānau and support children to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday , with a mix of opening and closing shifts.


Role requirements:


We’re looking for someone who:


  • Holds a Level 7 ECE or Primary teaching qualification and current teacher certification
  • Is passionate about child-led, play-based learning
  • Builds positive relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues
  • Understands Te Whāriki and quality teaching practice
  • Is a collaborative, flexible and enthusiastic team player
  • Is committed to ongoing learning and professional growth
