Quality Lead | Contract (6-month) | AKL or Anywhere in NZ

We are on the hunt for someone with a strong background in quality, clinical governance, clinical safety or health service improvement who is comfortable working across complex clinical and operational environments.


About the role

Working closely with programme delivery, clinical and quality leads, you’ll provide quality leadership and assurance to support the safe and effective implementation of programme recommendations.


You’ll work across clinical, operational, quality, intelligence and programme teams, helping bring together different perspectives and ensuring quality and safety considerations are well understood throughout delivery. In this role

you'll be:


  • Providing specialist quality advice and leadership across the workstream. Supporting quality assurance, monitoring and reporting approaches
  • Providing guidance around adverse event management
  • Supporting pathway safety, notification safety and provider quality monitoring initiatives
  • Navigating input from a broad range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
  • Contributing to governance reporting, documentation and decision-making and identifying and escalating quality risks, issues and dependencies


About you

You’ll bring senior-level experience across quality, clinical governance, clinical safety, health service improvement or programme assurance, ideally within a complex healthcare environment. You’ll also bring:


  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Experience developing or working with assurance, monitoring and reporting frameworks
  • The ability to work effectively across clinical, operational and programme teams
  • Sound judgement and the ability to navigate competing stakeholder perspectives
