Senior Civil Engineer - Land/Energy, Tauranga, Auckland or Wellington, $120,000 - $170,000


The Company


Our client is a growing, relationship-led engineering consultancy expanding its capability across land development and renewable energy.


With a strong pipeline of projects and a collaborative, high-trust culture, they are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who can lead with credibility, build lasting client partnerships, and deliver high-quality design outcomes.

The Role

  • Lead land development and civil infrastructure projects from concept through to completion
  • Deliver civil design for renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS), including earthworks, drainage, stormwater and access design
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Provide technical verification, QA and MSQA support
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and contribute to technical best practice
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs and navigate NZ consenting and approvals processes
  • Support the growth of the Land & Energy sector nationally

About You

  • Proven experience delivering land development and civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong project leadership and design capability
  • Confident, client-facing communication style with commercial awareness
  • Technical strength in earthworks, three waters, stormwater and access design
  • Understanding of NZ regulatory and consenting frameworks
  • Exposure to, or strong interest in, renewable energy projects
  • Washington Accord engineering degree
  • CPEng (or working towards) highly regarded
