Job Description

About us:

At MTF Finance, our mission is to help New Zealanders get ahead by making lending about people again. We’re New Zealand’s money experts helping locals all over New Zealand, powered by a world-class funding system.

100% New Zealand owned and operated since 1970, MTF provides personal and business loans to New Zealanders through our nationwide network, made up of 55 Franchises and more than 150 vehicle dealers and business partners. We’ve grown to be one of New Zealand’s largest specialist lenders, with assets of more than $1.2B.

There is a strong sense of pride in the work we do. We have a love for our Dunedin heritage but we’re a national business, and a team, who reach communities and customers right across the country

When you join MTF, you join a dynamic, innovative and highly trusted team. Whether you join our National Office, or one of our franchises, you’re joining a team who share a deep passion for the communities we serve and doing the best for our customers, while also having an unwavering commitment to help our own people learn, grow, and thrive.

About the role:

Are you a proactive organiser who keeps things moving? As our Sales Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting MTF Finance’s remote sales team by coordinating activity, keeping communication flowing, and making sure important processes happen accurately and on time.

You’ll be the go-to connector between franchisees, dealers, Sales Managers and National Office teams, ensuring the right information gets to the right people at the right time. With great attention to detail, responsiveness and a can-do attitude, you’ll help strengthen relationships, champion the MTF brand and enable our sales team to perform at their best.

  • Act as an extension to the Sales Managers, contacting Originators on their behalf to confirm RSVPs for workshops and events.
  • Manage regular monthly deliverables such as fee assessments and monthly accounts ensuring Originators return these on time.
  • Assist Sales Managers in the preparation of facility review forms and managing the upcoming facility review queue.
  • Manage the sales pipeline board for non-recourse ensuring accurate status reporting.
  • Act as a key conduit and connector between National Office and the sales team, supporting clear, timely, and effective communication.
  • Work with credit and compliance teams to provide Area Sales Managers with status updates on work-in-progress.
  • Coordinate the recruitment of franchise/dealer vacancies, including advertising roles and coordinating candidate due diligence (MoJ, Centrix and AplyID checks).
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding for franchises, including systems access setup (e.g. Jira, MTF Learn) and induction scheduling.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement by mapping processes and helping streamline sales workflows.
  • Administration of our CRM system around key tasks and accountabilities for the team.

You’ll need to have:

  • Previous experience in a sales administration or coordination, or similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
