Job Description

At Trade Assist, we’re currently working with several well-established businesses across Christchurch who are looking for reliable and hardworking Storepersons to join their teams.


We have a range of opportunities available across different locations and industries, giving you the chance to find a role that matches your experience, skills and availability.

The Role


Depending on the position, your day-to-day duties may include:


  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Operating RF scanners
  • Loading and unloading freight
  • Receiving and dispatching goods
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • General warehouse and Storeperson duties
  • Using warehouse computer systems
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

What We're Looking For


To be successful, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience
  • Pick packing experience
  • Experience using RF scanners
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Forklift licence and experience is highly regarded, but not essential for all roles
  • Reliable transport and excellent attendance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
