  • $50 - $60 per hour + 8% Holiday Pay + KiwiSaver + Weekly Pay

About the Role

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established electrical contractor based in Taupō. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing teams, coordinating site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.


Working across a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, you'll be responsible for leading electricians on-site, managing daily operations, and acting as the key link between project stakeholders and the workforce. This role offers long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position with our client for the right person.


About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current EWRB Practising Licence
  • Proven experience leading electrical teams on-site
  • Strong knowledge of NZ electrical standards and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
  • Experience coordinating labour, materials, and project timelines
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Current Site Safe Passport
  • Full NZ Driver's Licence
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical activities on-site
  • Lead and support electricians, apprentices, and trade assistants
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with regulations
  • Monitor project progress and meet key milestones
  • Manage site quality assurance and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
  • Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture
