Spraystore is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our Christchurch warehouse.


This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading people, staying organised and working alongside the team to get the job done. You'll oversee warehouse operations, stock control and order dispatch while ensuring our customers continue to receive reliable, efficient service.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Leading and supporting the warehouse team
  • Planning and allocating daily workloads
  • Ensuring orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately and on time
  • Managing incoming stock, stock movements and regular stocktakes
  • Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
  • Overseeing the safe storage and handling of products, including Dangerous Goods
  • Working closely with the sales team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Getting hands-on and supporting the team with day-to-day warehouse duties


We're looking for someone with:


  • Previous warehouse or distribution experience
  • Experience supervising or managing staff
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A practical, hands-on leadership style
  • Good communication and the confidence to provide clear direction
  • The ability to prioritise and keep things moving in a busy environment
  • A good understanding of workplace health and safety


Stock control and inventory management experience will be highly regarded. Experience with Dangerous Goods or chemical products would also be an advantage, although training will be provided.
