Love cooking but need work that fits around your lifestyle? We are looking for a Casual Cook to join our friendly team at our Central Production Kitchen in Mount Wellington, Auckland.


This is a casual role, with shifts offered as and when needed. You will prepare, cook and pack quality food for distribution while working in a well-organised production kitchen where health, safety and food quality always come first.


You will be joining a supportive team that works hard, looks after one another and takes pride in creating great food. Bring your cooking experience, positive attitude and reliability, and we will give you the support and opportunities to grow.


Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:


  • Prepare, cook, present and pack quality food for distribution
  • Assemble ingredients and prepare meat, seafood, poultry, fruit and vegetables
  • Follow recipes, portion controls and food quality standards
  • Receive, rotate and store kitchen supplies correctly
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen environment
  • Follow all health and safety, food safety and company procedures


He kōrero mōu / About you:


  • Previous cooking experience in a commercial or similar kitchen environment
  • Able to work calmly and efficiently in a busy production kitchen
  • A reliable team player who can also work independently
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude
  • Flexible and available to work casual shifts as required
  • Physically fit and committed to high hygiene, food safety and safety standards
