Hammerhand


We’re looking for an experienced Hammerhand to join a busy construction team. You’ll be working alongside qualified carpenters, assisting with a range of building and construction tasks.


  • What you’ll be doingAssisting qualified carpenters with day-to-day construction work
  • Framing, fixing and general building tasks
  • Measuring, cutting and preparing building materials
  • Confidently using hand and power tools
  • Site preparation and general construction duties
  • Keeping work areas safe, clean and organised
  • Working independently when required and following instructions from site supervisors
  • What we’re looking forMinimum 3 years’ residential building or commercial construction experience
  • Full Class 1 driver licence
  • Own reliable transport
  • Own hand and power tools
  • Strong practical building knowledge and confidence on construction sites
  • Physically fit and capable of carrying out hands-on work
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
  • Strong health and safety awareness
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
