Based at our purpose-built head office in Thames, this role sits within our Geocert Laboratory, where you'll work alongside a supportive team in a modern, fully equipped laboratory environment.


About the Role


We're looking for a practical and detail-focused Laboratory Technician to join our Geocert Laboratory team.


In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for carrying out laboratory testing and supporting our quality processes to ensure products consistently meet required standards and specifications.


You don't necessarily need extensive laboratory experience. We're looking for someone who is methodical, comfortable working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy and is keen to learn.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Sampling products and preparing materials for laboratory testing
  • Carrying out testing in accordance with established procedures and standards
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory testing equipment
  • Accurately recording, analysing and calculating test results
  • Preparing test reports and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining accurate laboratory records
  • Ensuring testing is completed accurately and within required timeframes
  • Contributing to a safe, organised and efficient laboratory environment


About You


We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in getting the details right.

Previous experience or study in science, mathematics, laboratory testing, quality assurance or a similar technical field would be preferred but is not essential. Full training will be provided to the right person.
