About the Role


Our public sector client are looking for a FIFO (Monday-Friday) Windows 11 Engineer to provide onsite IT support across three migration phases (Exchange On-prem to Online, Guest Conversion and E5 Licensing, and Windows 10 to Windows 11), joining on contract until August 2027. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing contract with a mix of migration work, post-migration support, and ticket-based BAU support. Candidates can be based anywhere in the North Island, and must be prepared to meet the travel requirements for this position. Travel costs, including time, flights and accommodation will be covered by the employer.


Responsibilities


  • Provide onsite migration and post-migration support
  • Support Exchange On-prem to Online migrations
  • Support Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations
  • Resolve support tickets during rollout activities
  • Deliver frontline customer service under pressure
  • Travel weekly to sites around New Zealand


Skills & Experience


  • Frontline/customer service IT support experience
  • Windows 11 migration exposure
  • Mailbox migration experience
  • MS Intune experience
  • MS Entra ID (Azure AD) experience
  • Exchange Online experience
