Frontier Waterproofing & Roofing is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee roofing, cladding and waterproofing projects across Auckland.


This role suits someone with practical industry knowledge who can plan ahead, lead site teams and maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers and management.

About the role


You will manage projects from handover through to completion, ensuring our teams deliver work safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required standard.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Planning project schedules and coordinating staff, subcontractors, materials and deliveries.
  • Reviewing plans, specifications and project scopes before work starts.
  • Confirming site measurements and coordinating accurate material and flashing orders.
  • Monitoring labour, materials, costs and progress against project budgets.
  • Identifying variations early and arranging approval before additional work proceeds.
  • Leading site meetings and keeping clients, builders and management informed.
  • Managing site health and safety, inspections and quality control.
  • Resolving site issues and supporting team leaders with practical decisions.
  • Maintaining project records and coordinating defects, warranties and handover documents.


About you:


  • Experience managing roofing, waterproofing, or related construction projects.
  • Sound knowledge of metal roofing, architectural tray roofing, and cladding. Waterproofing experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to read plans, interpret specifications and identify installation requirements.
  • Proven experience leading teams and coordinating several projects.
  • Strong organisation, cost awareness and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication and confidence dealing with clients, builders and suppliers.
  • Confidence using job management software. Experience with Fergus would be an advantage.
  • A full driver licence.


An experienced roofing Leading Hand or Site Supervisor ready to move into project management is also encouraged to apply.
