About the Role


As a Reliever Teacher, you’ll bring your skills, warmth, and creativity into our Hastings, Napier and Havelock North centres. Each day will be different—supporting tamariki with play-based learning, helping with group activities, or simply being a reassuring presence. With no two days the same, you’ll enjoy variety while still building strong connections with children, families, and our centre teams.


What You’ll Need:


  • NZ teaching qualification (ECE or Primary, Level 7 or higher)
  • Current NZ Teacher Registration (Provisional or Full)
  • NZQA recognition for overseas qualifications (if applicable)
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • A flexible, positive approach and passion for supporting tamariki
