Are you an analytical thinker who loves working with numbers, spotting trends, and turning data into insight? This is a genuine opportunity to build a career in commercial finance with a well-established, values-driven organisation.


You won't just be crunching numbers; you'll be mentored into a role that shapes real pricing, planning and business performance decisions at a senior level. If you're early in your finance career (or studying towards CA/CPA) and want hands-on exposure to commercial accounting rather than routine transactional work, this is designed for you.


You'll start by supporting the team with data collection, reporting and analysis, and progressively take on more responsibility as your confidence and skills develop:

  • Help collect, compile and analyse pricing, sales and market data to support management decision-making
  • Assist in maintaining pricing systems, ensuring data is accurate and reliable
  • Support the preparation of management reports and business performance reviews
  • Get involved in budgeting, forecasting and CAPEX planning processes
  • Learn how to build cost and profitability analysis (by customer, product and volume)
  • Progress toward supporting tender pricing, contract negotiations and commercial proposals
  • Work alongside experienced commercial and finance professionals who'll actively coach you
  • What We're Looking For A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce or a related field (recent graduate or early-career welcome)
  • Currently working towards, or keen to start, your CA/CPA pathway
  • Strong Excel/MS Office skills and a genuine curiosity for working with data
  • Naturally analytical; you enjoy digging into numbers to find the "why"
  • Good communicator who can explain findings simply, without jargon
  • A collaborative attitude, balanced with the ability to work independently once trained
  • Eager to learn new systems, processes and different parts of the business
