Job Description

A growing technology group is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team in Auckland. This pivotal role offers the chance to be at the forefront of a major finance transformation, helping shape systems and processes that can scale with rapid business growth.

What you'll do:


As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving finance transformation within a rapidly expanding technology group. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Partner with Group Finance and local teams on finance systems, reporting and transformation initiatives.
  • Support Business Central upgrades, process improvements and payment/bank integrations.
  • Own data quality through reconciliations, validation and reporting accuracy across finance platforms.
  • Lead UAT, documentation, training and system rollouts across the organisation.
  • Build scalable finance processes to support organic growth and acquisition integration.
  • Prepare monthly performance, trend and margin analysis across ANZ and Group business units.
  • Analyse ARR data to identify revenue leakage and improve billing and sales reporting.
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for finance and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting, including cost tracking across Technology, People and Marketing.
  • Provide broader finance support across the team as priorities evolve.


What you bring:


  • Hands-on experience across finance systems, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Experience supporting ERP, planning or reporting systems; Business Central or Vena is advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Finance, Commercial and Technology teams.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A process-driven mindset focused on scalable, repeatable and well-documented processes.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field; accounting qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience in multi-entity, international or SaaS/subscription businesses is desirable.
  • Exposure to M&A integration, system migrations, finance transformation or automation is advantageous.
