The opportunity


We are looking for an engaging and motivated Intermediate Auditor to join our growing Wellington audit practice. As part of our 12-person audit team, you will gain hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of profit and not-for-profit organisations.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys audit, builds rapport easily with clients and colleagues, and is keen to sharpen their technical capability while building a long-term career in public practice.


What you will be doing


Plan and complete audit assignments for a diverse range of for-profit and not-for-profit clients.

Get to know each client’s organisation, systems and financial reporting requirements.

Prepare clear, well-supported audit documentation and help deliver consistently high-quality engagements.

Build trusted client relationships and communicate clearly and professionally from planning through to completion.

Collaborate closely with managers, partners and other members of the audit team.

Keep building your technical knowledge, commercial awareness and professional judgement.


About you


  • You are qualified, or close to qualifying, as a Chartered Accountant.
  • You ideally bring audit experience from a chartered accounting firm or public practice environment.
  • You are personable, confident and comfortable connecting with a wide range of people.
  • You are enthusiastic about audit and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • You are organised, proactive and equally effective working independently or as part of a team.
  • You want meaningful career progression without giving up work-life balance.
