Help people discover their strengths, build confidence and live great lives.

Are you someone who loves bringing people together, sparking new ideas, and helping others achieve things they never thought possible?

We're looking for an energetic, creative, and compassionate person to join our team and support people with disabilities to build skills, confidence, independence, and meaningful connections in their communities.

No two days are the same. One day you might be supporting someone to explore a volunteering opportunity, the next you could be helping run a music project, sports activity, art workshop, community adventure, cooking session, media project, or work-readiness programme.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who sees potential, encourages growth, and helps people achieve goals that matter to them.

What you'll be doing

✨ Helping people discover their strengths, develop new skills, and grow their independence.

✨ Creating engaging experiences through music, arts, sport, media, vocational learning, technology, community projects, and other hands-on activities.

✨ Supporting people to access volunteering, work experience, employment pathways, and community opportunities.

✨ Building genuine relationships with people, whānau, colleagues, and community partners.

✨ Being a positive, encouraging presence who celebrates progress and supports people through challenges.

✨ Contributing fresh ideas and helping design exciting programmes that people genuinely want to be part of.

✨ Thinking creatively and adapting when things don't go to plan.

✨ Supporting people to get out and about in their communities safely and confidently.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

✅ Bring great energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

✅ Enjoy connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.

✅ Are creative, resourceful, and comfortable thinking outside the box.

✅ Believe everyone deserves opportunities to learn, contribute, and thrive.

✅ Feel confident supporting activities in community settings.

✅ Hold a full driver's licence and are comfortable driving programme vehicles or vans.

✅ Have confidence in and around water (a bonus, but not essential).

Why you'll love this role

Because you'll help create opportunities that genuinely change lives.

You'll see people discover new passions, gain confidence, make friends, learn valuable skills, and achieve goals that once felt out of reach. You'll be part of a team that values creativity, inclusion, fun, and making a real difference every day.

If you're the sort of person who brings energy to a room, looks for possibilities instead of barriers, and loves helping people succeed, we'd love to hear from you. 🌟
