Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Leader to lead and support their busy production team.


This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the team operates safely and efficiently while achieving production and quality targets.


Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

- Lead, motivate and support production team members

- Coordinate daily production activities and workflow

- Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved

- Monitor product quality and operational performance

- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times

- Identify and assist with production or equipment issues

- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement

- Allocate work and ensure appropriate staffing across production

- Maintain accurate production records and complete computer-based reporting

- Train and support team members to achieve required standards

- Communicate effectively with production management and other departments

- 6am-2pm start rotating shift


What We're Looking For

- Previous team leader, supervisor or senior production experience

- Experience within manufacturing, production or a similar industrial environment

- Strong people leadership and communication skills

- Good understanding of health, safety and quality requirements

- Confident using computers and completing production documentation

- Practical, organised and able to problem-solve

- Self-driven with the ability to take ownership of the shift and team

- Reliable and committed to achieving high production and quality standards
